Shipping & Delivery
Delivery Location
- Front Door Delivery: Your goods will be delivered to the nearest accessible point of your home, usually the front door. Due to safety guidelines, transporters are not allowed to move your items to other locations on your property.
- Heavy Items: For large or palletized shipments, they will not be transported up stairs. Drivers will leave pallets on the nature strip if pathways, such as steps or stairs, are obstructed. Please plan ahead to have help available for moving the pallet inside your building and for installation.
Responsibilities
- Customerβs Duty: The delivery person is not required to assist in bringing items inside or onto your driveway. You, the buyer, are responsible for these specialized services. If the item isn't immediately delivered to you, we are not liable for any storage or redelivery fees that may occur.
- Redelivery and Storage: If you do not arrange for redelivery or collect the freight within 7 days, the freight will be returned to our warehouse at your expense.
- Address Alterations: ABC Store is not responsible for changing the original shipping address. Any fees associated with such changes are your responsibility.
Handling Large and Heavy Items
- Forklift Requirement: For very large and heavy items, a forklift is needed to move them from the curbside to the desired spot. Consider hiring a local builder or landscaper for this task.
- Installation Costs: ABC Store will not cover any installation costs under any circumstances.
Authority to Leave (ATL)
- ATL Option: To avoid trips to the depot or redelivery fees, choose the "Authority To Leave" option in the cart checkout comments box.
- Liability: If you select the ATL option, neither the courier nor ABC Store will be held responsible if the freight goes missing from your premises after delivery.
- Post-Shipping Instructions: ATL instructions cannot be added once an order has shipped.
Delivery Restrictions
- PO Boxes: We do not deliver to PO Boxes.
- Shipping Costs: Final shipping costs are displayed at checkout.
- Metropolitan Delivery Areas: Some products can only be delivered to metropolitan areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide. If you reside outside these areas, please contact us at info@abcstore.com to arrange shipping.
Delivery Timeframes
- General Timeframes: Delivery times vary by location, typically ranging from 4-10 business days. For rural, remote, or distant areas, additional delivery time of at least 4 business days may be required.
- Made-to-Order Items: Certain products are made to order, as indicated in their descriptions. Delivery for these items may take several weeks. Contact us for a more accurate timeline.
